Matrix Lubricants LLC. sells it’s products directly to customers in the automotive aftermarket service industry. We do not have stocking distributors, however we do have a network of Independent Manufacturers Representatives ( Matrix IMR’s ) who sell our products for us.
We DO NOT operate a multi-level marketing program as some other manufacturers do, because we feel that this could undermine our IMR’s efforts. Our IMR’s do not purchase ANY product from us. Matrix IMR’s simply set up the customer and when the customer purchases products our IMR’s receive a commission on the gross sale.
Selling Matrix Lubricants Synthetic products is straight-forward sales. Our products are priced significantly below the major brands that most lube facilities and installers use for their standard Synthetic oil change. Most of their customers are not brand specific and simply need a synthetic oil when they have their oil changed. It is then the facility operators choice as to which brand to use for the oil change. Obviously these operators realize a significant savings by using a quality product that is purchased at a lower price.
These facilities carry specialty brands for the occasion when a brand specific customer asks for a particular brand; however, this is a niche market. Matrix products are priced to allow the lube facility operator to use Matrix MX4 Full Synthetic Lubricants as their primary lubricant used for their synthetic oil change customers. This brings them higher profits and larger volume sales to Matrix IMR’s
